Where Are You Heading With Your Health?

Your health as it is now is the result of all the choices you've made before today. How are things looking for you?

  • Are you overweight?
  • Are you worried because you know you're heading for trouble?
  • Are you already seeing your doctor regularly because you're on pills in an attempt to stop your body falling apart?

You have many potential futures regarding your health, and the one you end up with depends on what you chose to do now. To a large extent is doesn't matter what you've done before, because that can't be changed. But the direction you're currently pointing can be changed.

One thing is for sure. If your health isn't great today and you don't change it will get worse. It will not stay the same, because as time plays out your poor choices accumulate until something reaches breaking point.

Do You Need Help?

There is a lot of information on this site that you can use to help yourself. Maybe you've gone a step further and taken one of my courses. But you're still struggling!

Generally speaking there are two types of people:

  • Those that just need to right information and with it they hit the ground running. They put what they've learned into practice and their health improves.
  • Those that are full of information but can't implement it for long enough to have a positive impact on their health. You get pissed off with yourself for being your own worst enemy. You constantly sabotage yourself and any progress you do make is quickly lost as your old habits get the better of you again.

If you're in that second group you know you can't do it by yourself and that you need help.

You'll have all sorts of mental blocks that are holding you back. You won't be aware of most of them, which is why you can't understand why you can't change. You might put you lack of success down to not having enough will power, but this is not your problem!

As a GP I see people's lives destroyed or cut short as a normal part of my day. Of course it's not just you, it's you family's lives that will change too if something happens to you.

Most of the illness I see in my work as a GP is preventable. It you've already missed that boat it's not too late for you as much of it is reversible too.

The natural state for your body is health - and it will go back to that natural state again, IF YOU LET IT! In principle this is easy:

  • Stop the self harm you inflict on yourself with your current everyday choices
  • Start doing the things that invite health back into your body

You live in your body. If you care about living - care about your body!

If you want to do that but can't - get the help you need before it's too late.

How Coaching Helps

I've been a doctor since 1994 so I'm going to understand your health problems and any medication you're taking.

I also understand the desperation that some people feel about their health. A lot of people feel lost and that they've got no one to turn to for real help. With the best will in the world the most caring NHS doctor may not have the time you need to achieve real change, and the alternative is pills.

Coaching will give us time together so I can spot your blocks, the things that are holding you back. You might not even what these are, most people don't. You know what it's like - we can so easily spot other's people's short comings but we're not so good when it comes to ourselves are we?
