Making Your Weight Loss Goal Easier To Reach

If you’ve set a weight loss goal before and not achieved it, I’d like you to look at it a bit differently this time. Because there’s no point doing the same thing if it didn’t work before is there?

Weight loss is a journey, and like any other journey you have your starting point, and your finishing point.

Getting From A to B

When you set out on a journey in your car, you know your starting point. You also know where you’re going.

You accept that you can’t be telly-ported to your destination, you can’t just click your fingers and arrive instantly. You accept there is a certain distance to travel. You accept that in time you will arrive.

You might feel really eager and impatient to get there, you might even get a bit fed up on the way. But you don’t throw your hands up in the air when you’re half way there, turn around and drive back to your starting point.

You don’t drive backwards and forwards from your starting point, never reaching B.

You don’t announce your inability to achieve your journey.

You accept the distance between A and B, and you continue to move in the direction of B until you get there.

You understand what is required and you do it.

Your weight loss goal and the journey to a slimmer you can be just as easy to understand.

Getting From A to B With Your Weight Loss Goal

You know where you are now. You know you want to be somewhere else.

But do you know exactly where you’re going?

If you can’t immediately come out with a sentence that describes very clearly what your weight loss goal looks or feels like, you don’t know where you’re going yet. That’s the first thing you need to do, otherwise you’re going nowhere for very long.

Do you accept that there is a distance to travel that is going to going to take some time? If not you’re not going to even make half way before turning back.

Do you understand what is required?

Don’t just say yes without thinking about it. Think of all the steps a route finder would list to take you from A to B in your car. The longer the distance, the more instructions are needed. But they are easy to follow, you get on and do it, and you arrive at your destination.

People who successfully lose weight plot their journey and follow their route. They might go off track from time to time, just like you can take a wrong turning in your car. This is not a signal to return to your starting point, you just need to get back on track again.

If you’ve got the mind-set to leave your house and arrive at a pre-planned destination, then your mind-set only needs tweaking for you to achieve your weight loss goal.

This is exactly what I help people to do when they join Uber Slim. If you’re struggling to reach your weight loss goal or got any questions about the course – drop me a line.

Have a great week.

PS If you’re not quite ready to invest in Uber Slim yet, I also explain how to plot your weight loss journey in my book – you can read the first section of it to see if it’s your cup of tea:
